Mintek has been confirmed as a Finalist in the 17th annual Oliver Top Empowerment Awards, in the Category Top Empowered: Public Sector Leader Award. Mintek will compete for the Winner’s Trophy on 12 April, at Emperors Palace. View the first round of Award Finalists here.
This is the second time in last few month that Mintek has been recognised at such a high level. See last year’s award here.
In its 17th year, the Oliver Top Empowerment Awards recognises companies and individuals for their contribution and commitment to empowerment in South Africa; acknowledging the efforts of businesses, civil society, the public sector and outstanding individuals.
Mintek’s Chief Executive Officer, David Msiza, said, “The nomination is an affirmation of our commitment to the development of skills in our respective areas of research and technology development. We believe that this nomination will cultivate the development of innovative ideas and contribution towards the development of South Africa.”
