Pyrometallurgy Advanced Computing
|
Several facilities for advanced computing were established in March 2002 by the process simulation and modelling group in the Pyrometallurgy Division of Mintek, South Africa. The aims of the facilities are three-fold: To provide advanced theoretical support to clients' projects being run by the Division, to provide independent modelling and simulation work to clients on a contract basis, and to facilitate research into the applications of modern computing technology to the pyrometallurgy field.
Should you be interested in any of the research being performed, or have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact either Quinn Reynolds (quinnr@mintek.co.za), who manages the technical aspects of the facilities, or Rodney Jones, who oversees the modelling and simulation group.
