Herman Lagendijk (47) heads a research group specializing in nickel and
manganese ferroalloys, and base metal processes.
He has been employed in the Pyrometallurgy Division for 23 years
subsequent to obtaining a BSc degree in chemical engineering from the
University of Pretoria.
