We currently have opportunities for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join us in the following positions:
The Small Scale Mining and Beneficiation (SSMB) Division supports Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) in the minerals sector by identifying economically viable opportunities, providing access to appropriate technologies, providing training and incubation.
Add to the profitability of the Division through execution of pyrometallurgical testwork. The incumbent will be involved in strategic planning with regard the Division’s facilities and will be expected to guide and direct junior staff in a mentorship and coaching role.
To coordinate corporate performance information and to o perform library tasks of a more complicated nature which could involve some problem-solving and a certain degree of initiative.
To provide Mintek with in-house capability for producing graphic material. The Graphic Designer takes projects from the initial concept stage and coordinates steps through the completion of the projects; creates layouts and designs artwork for promotional, development and recruitment publications including, but not limited to, printed programmes brochures and advertising campaign products.
Add to the profitability of the division through execution of pyrometallugical test work of an applied nature for which specific experience, based on unique on-job training and tertiary qualifications in the pyro metallurgy discipline, is required. Accumulation of information to be used for diagnosing, coordination and supervision of projects are integral aspects of this position.
