We currently have opportunities for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join us in the following positions:
Add to the profitability of the Division through execution of pyrometallurgical testwork. The incumbent will be involved in strategic planning with regard the Division’s facilities and will be expected to guide and direct junior staff in a mentorship and coaching role.
The Small Scale Mining and Beneficiation (SSMB) Division supports Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) in the minerals sector by identifying economically viable opportunities, providing access to appropriate technologies, providing training and incubation.
The person appointed to this position will be involved in the Development and Transfer of appropriate technologies to small scale operators.
To coordinate corporate performance information and to o perform library tasks of a more complicated nature which could involve some problem-solving and a certain degree of initiative.
To provide Mintek with in-house capability for producing graphic material. The Graphic Designer takes projects from the initial concept stage and coordinates steps through the completion of the projects; creates layouts and designs artwork for promotional, development and recruitment publications including, but not limited to, printed programmes brochures and advertising campaign products.
To provide an effective and efficient HR, Learning and Development role to Mintek by applying empirical, market-related and up-to-date organisational effectiveness practices within the scope of legislation as well as partnering with the business to ensure provision of a competent and skilled workforce.Champions and drives change within the organisation.
To oversee Mintek’s Work Integrated Learner Programme, Science Promotion activities for the full-time bursary programme; the annual Minquiz science competition, Mintek’s corporate social responsibility programmes and to align these with the strategic objectives of Mintek to create a skills pool for future divisional business requirements.
To oversee Mintek’s graduate and researcher development programmes, the research-study based internship programmes, the Artisan Learnership Programmes
To develop, design and implement transformation and change programmes that align workforce with key business strategies and initiatives.
To create a close working relationship with Mintek’s senior leadership and divisional managers by developing and implementing an HR agenda and programmes which closely support the overall aims of the organisation.
The incumbent will be required to perform the activities relating to Labour Relations within the Human Resource Division, supervise staff and enhance a proactive employee relations climate within Mintek.
