Mintek provides ongoing support and technology advancement and is committed to solve any StarCS product related problems. StarCS is supported by a 12-month warranty after commissioning is completed. Mintek provides post-warranty service, support and upgrade contracts. These support and upgrade contracts can be structured to meet client requirements and may include fixed/regular service visits or callouts or both. Mintek also conducts audits and feasibility studies investigate the benefit of extending StarCS to other areas of the plant.
Telephonic, email and fax based support is free of charge. Remote dial-up support is also available upon request. Within the warranty period, any faults are corrected free of charge. 50% of the StarCS budget is spent on development, and follow-up visits by Mintek staff are used to collect useful suggestions for improvements and upgrades of the StarCS system.
